The purpose of the BEyond Team Program is to cultivate a Christ-centered work environment where participants are invited to use their gifts and abilities to contribute to camp programming while learning to Be love to others, Be loved by others, and know God calls them Beloved. BEyond Team participants will serve campers, staff, and volunteers in a safe and empowering environment. By engaging in community with one another as well as with camp staff, they will build relationships as well as a sense of purpose and dignity. Our ultimate prayer for participants of the BEyond Team is that they would grow in the belief and knowledge that God calls them Beloved and feel equipped to continue a relationship with Christ after camp.
We also ask that every participant who applies to be a part of the BEyond Team has had the opportunity to be a camper at BEloved and BEyond. We feel that when they have an opportunity to spend a time at camp they get to know our camp culture, see the BEyond Team in action, experience the ins and outs of how our days work and most of all allowing them to feel a sense of comfort and familiarity in knowing that they are now getting to serve in the place that they have been served.
