Activity Leading

Each activity day every cabin goes to a set number of activities, while the Activity Leader’s role is to oversee and ensure functionality, spiritual application, safety, fun, and MORE! Activities include: Costume Closet, Arts & Crafts / Sensory, Music, Fishing / Canoes, Silent Disco, Rec Time, Pool, Zip Line, Horses, and Giant Swing

Ropes Course Facilitator

Show our campers the ROPES on the Zip Line and Giant Swing! We need staff to facilitate and guide our campers safely through these radical activities

Jump in, the water’s fine! Guard the waters safely at some of our campers favorite daily activity!

Equestrian Leader

Giddy-up and lead our campers on the ride of their lives! How ‘bout them cowboys/girls?!

These different roles on staff lead others spiritually, relationally, and physically during per Term of camp. These positions look like being coaches, encouragers, friends, and advocates for our amazing volunteers, campers, and Beyond Teamers.

BE Krew Leader

These leaders oversee our group  of the middle school age “work crew”. They serve as a liaison between camp and the kitchen and joyfully embrace all the awkwardness that comes with being 13-15 years old. They empower them to serve and lead them through learning what service really means while also aiding their spiritual development in nightly devos, this role also encourages our Be Krew team in making service fun and planning special “BE Krew-only” activities.

Cabin Leader

Cabin leading in this role consists of co-leading a cabin of 7 campers and their 1:1 buddies. This role includes: being an example, advocate, safe place, and friend to your Co Cabin Leader, volunteers, and special campers within your cabin. Serve as the hands and feet of Christ by tending to Camper Care, spiritually and relationally lead Camper and Volunteer Devotionals on a daily basis, and leading your cabin to daily activities.

Sib Cabin Leader

We will have several terms where we also have cabins for the neurotypical siblings (ages 7-13) of campers to attend. This is also a co-led position except without 1:1 buddies. Leaders will oversee a cabin, go to extra special “sib-only” activities in addition to all the other camp activities, leading daily devotionals, and work together to create a supportive and open environment while helping each “sib” feel so seen and so special.

Beyond Team Leader

These are the leaders of our adult participant program who disciple, mentor, train, and coach the participants (adults with special needs) in being on the service side of camp. They lead devos, have intentional conversations,  facilitate both working times and down times, and plan “beyond-team only” activities.

Clinic Staff

Our medical team is one of the main reasons camp is possible to run. These positions involve organization of medications, administration schedules, and other need based services. They treat all with kindness and work together with the professionals on the clinic team (and on-call doctor) to most wisely and effectively treat whatever ailments they are presented with.

Special Diets Team

Do you like to cook? Are you familiar with allergens and love to get creative in the kitchen? Our campers, staff and volunteers have numerous special diet and food allergies. Our Special Diets Team works with the kitchen staff and serves as a food monitor and preparer of these meals to

Kitchen Krew

Meal times are a must at camp! Our Kitchen Krew helps prepare meals for our incredible campers, staff, and volunteers throughout their Term of camp. With over 200 people at camp per week, we need staff with hearts and hands willing to serve in this important capacity. Get your playlist ready cause the kitchen is known for jammin’!

These staffers use cameras as a tool to capture unforgettable images of the camp experience. They go the extra mile to distribute photos to each one-on-one buddy who puts together a photo book for their camper to take home with them at the end of the week- this part of camp speaks volumes to our campers and their families as it visually and verbally explains what all the Lord did throughout the week (especially special to our campers who do not communicate verbally).

Show everyone what God is doing at and through camp by sharing the camp experience through video. Campers and volunteers watch their videos over and over again for years afterward. We need staff to help make this possible!
